Southern Stars make it all square

I will post some more photos tomorrow when I have more free time.

The Southern Stars won the toss and chose to put the Kiwis in to bat. The Silver Ferns (or is it the White Ferns, it depends on whether you believe the programme or the SCG scoreboard) got a very good total of 288 after the 50 overs.

When the Southern Stars came in to bat, they scored strongly to start with and then wickets began to fall and the run rate dropped off. However the Australian women managed to get the required 289 runs for a victory with a few overs to spare. It had been a close match.

For today here are just a couple of photos.
