A day at Brands

I spent a sunny day at Brands Hatch

There were many historic racing cars from F1, F2 and F3 competing. There was also some saloon car racing to mix it up. I could remember when all of these cars were new.
Amazing how the years fly by.

A walk in the countryside

I went for a walk with my daughter on a visit to her house in Marston St Lawrence

A large house in the village

The local church

The road into the village

Nearby fields

Climbing the hill

The view from a hillside near Greatworth

Cottage gardens

The pub in Greatworth

On route to Farthinghoe

Fields of flowers

A lake on the outskirts of Marston St Lawrence

We had to wear jeans on the second walk even though it was very warm. It was just that we needed to wade through stingers and thistles on occasions as well as climb stiles and gates, plus avoid horses and cows. It was enjoyable walking in beautiful weather.

A morning in Guildford

I have been back in the UK for almost four weeks and at last the weather has warmed up to something like what you would expect for June. I caught the bus to Guildford.
After a morning coffee near the entrance to Guildford Castle I went into the grounds and had a look around.

Back in the UK

I've been back for a few days now. The weather has been grim but I guess you expect that on a Bank holiday weekend. I am moving into my newly rented house today.
As soon as the sun makes an appearance I will be out taking photos again.
