I decided to walk up the hill to the North Sydney market and took this picture of where the Pacific Highway passes through.
At the market I had a free range egg and bacon roll that was helped down with a really perfect coffee (a long black with a dash). Then I bought some ready made curry from the guy that ran the recent 'Thai cooking' class. At a fresh vegetable stall I got some zucchini and potatoes. Lastly I bought some marinated lamb patties from a stall specialising in organic lamb meat. The picture shows the market surroundings.
I just read that a book published here called "Pasta Bible" has had it's complete print run pulped as in one recipe it mentioned using "freshly ground black people". They meant pepper of course.
