Now we are in Autumn with it getting cooler and dark by 6pm I need to make the most of my remaining weeks here before returning to the UK for a while.
Having the afternoon free I took the Manly ferry from Circular Quay.
A naval vessel was returning to port and entering through the heads. Over here the navy do not work weekends, leaving port on Monday and returning by Friday.
Arrived at Manly ferry wharf soon after 3pm and walked through the Corso that takes you from the harbour beach to the ocean.
It is a very pleasant walk around to Cabbage Tree Bay where I climbed up the headland and looked north.
Some of the properties overlooking the bay.
Scuba diving near Shelly Beach
Sunbathing on the rocks
